About the Role

Arborist Wanted.
We welcome a Highly Experienced Arborist Team Leader who can deconstruct tall or difficult trees.
• We are seeking a skilled climber and team leader who doesn’t want to be caged in, and wants to be out in the field of trees! You must have clean Class 2/HT licence, experienced with driving manual and auto ute’s, a variety of tipper trucks, proficient with chippers, maintenance, able to work in difficult urban settings with excellent rope skills, provide efficient and dedicated work ethics, and be a member of the NZ Arboriculture Association.
• The successful applicant will ensure a high level of safety is adhered to in order to safeguard the public, other team members, and themselves, therefore a dedication to Health and Safety is absolutely critical. Our goal is that everyone returns home each night to their family and friends.
• Urban tree preservation experience is necessary.
• Naturally, you will have a positive attitude, have fantastic communication skills, be a people person able to work with a variety of team characters and encourage team members.
• Full-time staff members are issued with their own dedicated equipment kit such as harness, rope, ground saw, climbing chainsaw and tree saw etc,.
• Proven Full-time team members are provided with a separate tool allowance fund to keep them up to date with the latest gadgets and replace gear as required.
• Work Options: A) Casual basis for just the first month at $27.50hr. If accepted and proven abilities, then an offer of Full-time team management role may be provided at $30-40hr depending on proven skills, efficiency and management abilities. B) Contractor per our arrangement.
