Blitz Home and Garden
Blitz Home and Garden was founded in New Zealand.
Our main specialization is transforming backyards into beautiful sanctuaries.
We offer a range of Home and Garden services to help manage your property from regular lawn mowing, seasonal hedging, mould spraying and pest control, to pre-sale or full landscaping makeovers. We can also do some hanyman maintenance around the house.
Joseph Collins (Owner)
My passion for property care services began after school when I was 14.
In addition to enjoying multiple recreational activities,
I rode my bicycle up and down neighbourhood driveways in Kerikeri,
asking if I could help with their lawns and gardens.
I acquired several other occupations, including the Police and working with criminals with intellectual disabilities; however, I found myself returning to gardening, along with landscaping, building websites, and all the other duties that come with management.
Since 2018, I have lived and served in Hamilton, Waikato.
I love the endless parks, lakes, the mighty river, and developing private gardens!
We have many satisfied repeat customers who we treat like family.
I hope you will become one of ours too!
You can trust us to provide you with full assurance that your property will be well cared for.

Blitz Efficiency
Our small hard-working team takes great pride in providing outstanding services as efficiently as possible.
We use carts and wheelie bins to load and move organics with ease, saving energy during the long, hot days.
We have a wide selection of very well-organized tools to trim, dig, cut, and clean up faster.
We use specialized software to clock in and out of every job.
We use route optimization software to service an area at a time.
This makes our hourly rates very reasonable!
And that's why we have many satisfied repeat customers!
Low noise pollution
Whenever possible, we avoid using loud, bellowing petrol blowers that can be heard down the street and across the river!
95% of our mechanical tools are battery-operated.
75% of our vehicles are EVs or hybrids.
We only pull out petrol equipment for long days mowing lawns and some arborist work.
"Amazing service: from the initial communication, to the competitive quote, to job itself, to the clean-up afterwards.
Professional, friendly, efficient, on-time, and best of all, you could see they took pride in a quality job well done."
“Joseph is highly skilled and professional at multiple jobs.
He landscaped around my house, built my deck, put in my house insulation, soft washed my house and power washed my concrete paths, painted my bathroom, to all look amazing.
He definitely knows what he is doing and I will not hesitate to recommend his service to everyone! I am so happy to have found a reliable and highly skilled tradesperson to turn my old house into a beautiful home."
"Reliable company with a range of services at reasonable prices.
The owner and staff are very nice to deal with, professional and knowledgable."
